If you're experiencing any kind of problem with your iPhone after updating to iOS 11, the most recommended tip is to clear and empty out your iPhone's RAM. Restarting your iPhone is one way of doing this, but there is a quicker and simpler option.
Step 1: Unlocking your iOS device (Keep the display lit up).
1. Wake and Keep Screen Unlock
Step 2: Hold the power button until "Slide to Power Off" option appears.
2. "Slide to Power Off"
Step 3: Release Power button first, and press Home button for 5 secondes.
3. Press Home Button
Step 4: When you see your iPhone back to App screen, it's done.
4. Back to App Screen. Done.
