With the latest feature Mojave update rolled out to macOS in this September, Apple introduced a system-wide Dark Mode for Mac users. At the meantime, Microsoft today released an update to its Office 365 suite for the Mac, which comes with fresh new dark mode and brings full compatibility with the latest macOS release, Mojave.

Microsoft Office for Mac Now Comes with Dark Mode


Updates are available from Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU). To update Office 365 suite, start an Office application, such as Word, and then choose Help > Check for Updates. If you're an admin and want to update the computers in your organization with your existing software deployment tools, you can download and deploy the update packages for each application (See Release notes for Office for Mac).

Microsoft Office for Mac Now Comes with Dark Mode


The Dark Mode for Office 365 will make the apps look in sync with the macOS Mojave system theme. It is unlikely if the licensed apps will receive this new look since most of the updates are being sent out to Office 365 subscribers. Office 2019 for Mac was introduced recently with a myriad of new features and improvements and continue to receive updates.
